Song of the Day: Kady Z “Beautiful Disaster”
Kady Z is the American alternative to Canadian pop princess Carly Rae Jepsen. Those infatuated with Jepsen’s sugary sweet vocals would love Kady Z’s equally cute voice and adorable lyrics. The music video for the song features David Gallagher (of 7th Heaven fame, for those 90s babies out there).
The EP, One Million Pieces, from which “Beautiful Disaster” comes from, is already catching success, charting on Top 40 radio (#53 last week).

Truth:
Jenny (16) and Ashley (14) Cooke are two sisters who’ve started a country pop duo, getting ready to release their Our Kinda Life EP. With a tour underway and an upcoming EP, the girls are living the pop star life they dreamed of.
The girls’ new single, “My Kinda Life,” is now available on iTunes, and a lyric video has been released for it, as well as a teaser for the upcoming music video.

Sibling acts have long been mainstays in pop culture: Bee Gees, Jonas Brothers, the Veronicas, Tegan and Sara, etc. Even today, twins Megan & Liz are gaining momentum with their sibling power. Now fresh-faced Jenny and Ashley plan to bask in their own sibling revelry. The country-pop duo already has an EP under their belt, Songs about You, co-produced by Darren Smith (Tim McGraw). The girls’ videos “Beach Weekend” and “Indescribable” can also be seen on Demand in Music Choice’s Kidz Only music videos. “Beach Weekend” currently stands at over 151,000 views on YouTube, and showcases the girls’ likability. With innocent teen lyrics and adorable harmonies, plus a little country twang, they appeal to the demographic “Hannah Montana” left behind.
