For The Life of Me To Release Debut EP, “Closure”

For The Life Of Me

Oregon rock band For The Life of me will be releasing their debut EP, “Closure,” March 26. The EP will feature their single, “Eleven.”

For The Life of Me introduces themselves with the powerful “Eleven.” The band commands attention with their slyly aggressive, barely hardcore, Closuretrack. Reminiscent of the style of Thursday and Taking Back Sunday. The dark and cryptic track successfully opens the EP with little doubt that you’ve found a new favorite band. The heavily instrumental track also foreshadows the formula the band uses for the rest of the EP.

“TV In My Head Part II” is predominantly thrashing guitars, bass, and drum vying for the spotlight. For the majority of the track, the instrumentals take center stage.

The EP has a classic vibe; the balance of a gritty tone with a crisp production is impeccable. The EP closes out with “Sung Out The Blue,” which is marked by its driving guitar lines and soaring vocals.

“Closure” is anything but. Rather than being some type of closure, this EP is just the beginning. For The Life of Me introduces themselves as a band that knows who they are, and their potential is immense.
